Dr. Matthew Brooks, MS, DVM
(Colorado State University)
Dr. Matthew Brooks opened Town Center Animal Hospital in October of 2008 with one mission. He wants to provide advanced veterinary care with old fashioned compassion and respect for his clients and patients. His commitment to veterinary medicine began when he worked for a small animal clinic and a zoo in his hometown of Tampa, FL. Since then, his interest in animal medicine grew to include cattle and horses; though, small animal practice is where his passion lies.
Dr. Brooks attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. GO RAMS!!!! There, he earned a Bachelors in Biology, a Masters in Epidemiology/Biosecurity, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Brooks has lived in Las Vegas since 2004. His professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, clinical pathology, and preventative medicine. He is also committed to helping the abandoned animals of the valley by assisting the Weimaraner and Basset Rescues. In his free time he enjoys swimming, biking, running, boating on Lake Mead, and snowboarding.
He has three pets: "Benjamin" a Golden Retriever, "Mason", an English Labrador, and "Walter" a Burmese cat (and true master of the house).
